Our Story

Curated art. Timeless elegance.

Canvalora began with a simple belief: the art on your walls should feel as considered as the rooms around it. Every piece in our collection is chosen for presence, the kind of work that changes the mood of a space the moment you walk in.

Our studio brings together a growing family of artist identities, each with its own signature: the radiant abstract blooms of Saskia Ember, the quiet coastal light of Maren Holt, the poised portraits of Margot Lisle in terracotta, ochre and sage, the raw charcoal wildlife of Cassian Rooke and the celestial figures of Lorenza di Valieri, in the grand language of the Renaissance. Together they move from calm and coastal to bold and contemporary.

How our art is made

Almost every Canvalora artist is a studio identity rather than an individual painter: a distinct creative voice developed in house, with its own subjects, palette and point of view. The exception is Roman Fontaine, a painter whose original work is the starting point for The Fontaine Collection. Each work is created digitally in our studio, then edited, refined and prepared at fine art resolution. Only the pieces we would hang in our own homes make it into the collection.

Composed for every size

Each artwork is offered framed or frameless, in sizes from an intimate 20 × 25 cm to a commanding 90 × 120 cm. Rather than cropping one image to fit every format, we compose each size for its own proportions, so the work you fall in love with is the work that arrives.

Printed close to home

Your piece is printed to order in the partner studio nearest to you, with locations in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada and Australia. Fewer miles, faster delivery and no import charges in those regions.

Our promise

If your artwork arrives damaged or with a printing fault, let us know within 30 days of delivery and we will replace it free of charge.
